Principal’s Message

Dear Eastlake Parents and Students,

It is with great excitement and optimism that I welcome you to the 2026–2027 school year at Eastlake Middle School! My name is Sergio Quintero, and I am honored to serve as the proud principal of this exceptional school community.

With 25 years of experience as both a teacher and administrator in the Sweetwater Union High School District, I have learned that the greatest student success occurs when schools and families work together. Every child deserves to feel valued, supported, challenged, and inspired, and that is the commitment we make to each of our students every day.

At Eastlake Middle School, we believe that every student has unique strengths, talents, and limitless potential. Our mission is to provide a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where students are encouraged to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. We strive to cultivate curiosity, resilience, confidence, and character while preparing our students to become lifelong learners and responsible members of their community.

Our dedicated teachers, counselors, classified staff, and administrators are committed to providing high-quality instruction and meaningful support for every student. Whether a student needs academic intervention, enrichment opportunities, social-emotional support, or simply a trusted adult to listen and encourage them, we are here to ensure they have the resources they need to succeed. We recognize that middle school is a time of tremendous growth and change, and we are committed to walking alongside our students every step of the way.

Equally important is the partnership we build with our families. Parents and guardians are our students' first and most influential teachers, and your involvement plays an essential role in their success. We encourage you to stay connected with your child's education by maintaining open communication with teachers, attending school events, monitoring academic progress, and celebrating both big and small accomplishments. Together, we can create an environment where every student feels supported both at school and at home.

This year, we will continue building upon Eastlake Middle School's tradition of excellence by maintaining high expectations, fostering meaningful relationships, and creating opportunities for every Triton to thrive. We are committed to ensuring that every decision we make reflects what is best for our students and helps them reach their fullest potential.
