Fall is a busy time for many Senior High School students as they submit college applications to public schools in the state of California. Our middle school students aren’t quite ready to submit applications but they definitely can start researching and learning about colleges and the steps they need to take to apply. The counselors would like to invite you to attend “Let’s Talk College” and informal Question and Answer time where you can learn how to start preparing your middle school student for college. The same discussion will take place twice. Choose the day and time that fits best with your schedule.

Take five to 10 minutes before bed to focus on what’s going on inside. Notice any parts of you that don’t feel relaxed. Invite them closer, listen to them, pay close attention and discover what their worries, fears, concerns, or other feelings are. Witness each part. Once all parts have relaxed, confirm with yourself that everything’s going to be all right and fall blissfully into sweet dreams.
Write to a former teacher that had a positive impact on you.
